Thom Yorke’s new song about me is like a deep black sun pulsing at midnight, full of dark and beautiful electronics that are depressed and beautiful, like me, because I am a vampire. His voice echoes like a rock dropped down a well. Splash, it says at the bottom, forlornly and alone. This loneliness feels as lovesick as I frequently am, thirsting as I do for love and blood. But this dark, pouty and beautiful song also seems very alive, like instead of blood its veins pumped sad vampire thoughts. I am a sad vampire but I love rocktronica. I need a Starbuck.
