You hipsters can keep your Radiohead LP8—at least to us at CMG, the most feverishly anticipated 2011 release will be Spoon’s long awaited follow-up to their 2007 career masterwork Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. While four years between releases isn’t particularly unusual for bands these days, it is unusual for Britt Daniel and co., who, wait…what? Third week of January? Featured “Got Nuffin” again? Three-minute aimless piano jam in the middle of the record? Huh. Learn something new each day, I guess.
