Well, this is it: you’ve been voting week after week for what seems like an eternity but was actually just February, and got us through all the way to the Top 10 of the CBC Searchlight contest. You’ll be relieved to know that this is final round; the winner will be revealed this Thursday at sometime-in-the-afternoon-PST. Yes, finally, this drawn-out celebration of CMG mightily dominating the competition—who, for the most part, have been really passionate and worthwhile webzines and blogs that, outside of being unfortunately pitted against us in a weaponless cyber-Battle Royale, we have warm feelings toward—will come to a merciful end.
The one catch being being that, since already being the best music website somehow doesn’t automatically net us the title, we still need you to keep voting for a short time longer. A very short time: you’ve got until Wednesday at midnight PST to secure us the top “prize,” and you, our readers, that long-promised pizza party. Well—if we lose there’ll still be pizza at the CMG mansion for those who stumble upon it, but, honestly, it won’t be much of a party.
