LIII
By Scott Reid | 18 May 2009
I’d love to write a lengthy intro for this podcast detailing a few sorta-funny anecdotes about the clearing of these songs, and delve a bit into my favorite selections (for the sake of brevity: all of them, but especially the Burial + Four Tet and Themselves excerpts, the Gang Gang Dance remix, and both artists fully capitalizing their names), but nope, I’ve a war to wage against an unflappable army of death-defying ants. For real, these are like resilient black hordes of tiny Jason Statham protagonists, somehow knowledgeable about and immune to a) every useless piece of “this’ll kill ‘em!” advice I’ve been given, and b) poison. This podcast will soundtrack the upcoming slaughter, presumably theirs.
As always, this is all because of and thanks to the artists, labels, and wonderful PR people involved. Enjoy.
