LXXI
By Scott Reid | 9 February 2010
This is lovingly dedicated to the first part of our new shit-hot Fantasy Covers podcast (catch up here), set to own the earth in less than a week: Monday, February 15th.
Part one will feature: Touching Earth Made of Steel sneaking a Daniel Johnston song into Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA,” Ned Collette & Wirewalker absolutely killing one of Broadcast’s best singles, the Luyas with a jittery and beautiful take on Kid A’s (2000) closer, Boats getting ambitious with the Microphones’ “The Glow Pt. 2,” and so much more, all led off by an epic twenty-plus artist “Decalogue” from the Hood Internet that’s just insane.
Meanwhile, this podcast, with continued thanks to all artists and labels involved, will be the last for a while aside from the Fantasy Covers. Enjoy, for now, with anticipation:
