So, ok, we didn’t win the CBC Radio 3 Searchlight contest; Edmonton’s Weird Canada took the top “prize,” beating out well over a hundred other nominated sites that it really is better than, but also us. This would be fine, I suppose, if it didn’t mean a lifetime of regret for Radio 3 mascot Bucky, who, frankly, didn’t need another albatross around its horribly mutated neck. Oh well. We tried.
Nevertheless, we’re genuinely floored by your support in getting us to the top 10. Our final bit of thanks for voting and bearing with us is two-fold: first, this new podcast to cap off seven straight weeks; then, coming this Friday, our Fantasy Contest Covers podcast, featuring over 50 minutes of reader submissions.
